The Ford Collective is the gift that keeps on giving! At their social events throughout the past year, I have met a wonderful array of artists and creatives, including Tamsin Fitzgerald, Artistic Director at 2Faced Dance Company. In June, Rehearsal Director, Louis Parker Evans, invited me to accompany a series of contemporary and ballet classes with the company dancers. It was such a creative experience for me as I was able to spontaneously respond and improvise to individual exercises. Some of the dancers hadn’t worked with a pianist before so I feel it was a learning curve for us all and one that, considering the positive feedback, was mutually appreciated. Hoping to return in the Autumn when classes resume.
